The Humble Servant – Moral Story

The Humble Servant

In a bustling city, there lived a wealthy merchant who prided himself on his riches and success. One day, he encountered an old, poor man who quietly swept the streets every morning. Curious, the merchant asked, “Why do you serve others when you have so little?”

The old man smiled and replied, “True greatness is not found in wealth or power, but in serving others with a humble heart. Each time I help, I grow richer in ways money cannot buy.”

Over time, the merchant noticed the old man was well-loved by the community, respected for his kindness. Eventually, the merchant realized that despite his wealth, it was the old man who was truly great in the eyes of the people and God.

This story emphasizes the value of humility and service to others, aligning well with the Gospel message of being the servant of all.
