Moral Story: The Wise Carpenter

Darius set off on his journey, bringing along food, water, and his finest clothes. After several days of travel, he found the treasure—a chest filled with gold. Overjoyed, he carried as much as he could. But as he tried to return, the weight of his greed slowed him down. He became too exhausted to walk, and without enough food or water, he collapsed.

A wise traveler passed by and offered help. Darius begged for water, but the traveler said, “You must leave the gold behind if you wish to survive.”

Reluctantly, Darius let go of the treasure, realizing that his life was more valuable than his greed for wealth. The wise traveler helped him back to safety, and Darius returned home, understanding that true wealth comes from within, not from material possessions.

Moral: Sometimes, letting go of material riches is the only way to find true happiness and fulfillment.
